Terms of Service

Scope of service

Pest Master Houston provides residential and commercial pest control services across Houston, Katy, Sugar Land, Cypress, Richmond, Rosenberg and surrounding areas of the Houston metro. A service agreement confirms the specific property, the pest covered, the service frequency and the price.

Pricing and payment

Quoted prices are firm for the service described in the inspection or written quote. We will not carry out work beyond that scope without discussing it with you and obtaining your agreement. Payment is due on completion unless a written agreement states otherwise.

Access and re-entry

We require access to the affected areas of the property at the time of service. We ask that pets, food and personal items be removed from treated areas and that nobody re-enters until the technician confirms it is safe. Where a treatment requires a longer re-entry period, we will tell you the exact time in writing.

Guarantee

Between scheduled services, active pest activity covered by your agreement is re-treated at no charge. This guarantee does not apply to activity caused by structural changes, by third-party treatments applied by another company, or to new pests not covered by the agreement — including termites where a separate termite agreement is in place.

Limitations

Pest control reduces and prevents pest activity. It cannot guarantee the complete absence of insects or rodents in an untreated neighbouring property, and no treatment is a substitute for correcting the building conditions that attract pests — moisture, drainage, gaps and food sources. Where we identify such conditions, we recommend correcting them, and we will say so in writing.

Liability

We carry general liability and full workers' compensation insurance. Our liability for damage caused by our treatment is limited to the cost of repairing that damage, except where a higher amount is required by law. We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions that we disclosed in writing, by failure to follow our written instructions, or by third parties who carry out work after us.

Cancellation

Ongoing plans may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. We do not charge a cancellation fee. Services cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice for a scheduled appointment may be subject to a missed-visit fee of $50, because the technician's route is already committed.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your service is the one in effect on the date the service was performed. Material changes affecting an active plan are notified in writing.
